EFCL Seniors Walking Program
EFCL has a Community League Walking Program available to all communities that wish to implement Urban Pole Walking (aka Nordic Walking).
Kim Mah is the EFCL's Seniors Program Walking Advisor. She is able to provide introductory pole walking workshops to suit your needs at your time frames. Kim is presently the walking leader for her own Delwood Community League too. Presently she has 20 People that are part of her program ranging in ages from 14 to 80 years old.
It's a fun easy way to exercise and socialize while maintaining physical distance during this pandemic. Urban Pole walking can be enjoyed throughout the year and it burns 20% to 40% more calories than regular walking and is a complete workout for the whole body! Kim can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively, she warmly welcomes people to give her a call on her cell at 780 217 2087 to find out more.
She encourages anyone to come give it a try. Come join in the fun!
